Diploma in Bulgarian Language (DBL) is a Language diploma course. Bulgarian language is one of the South Slavonic languages, descendent of Old Bulgarian (Old Church Slavonic). This study programme focuses on active mastering of the Bulgarian language, on theoretical and practical mastering of Bulgarian grammar, on obtaining a strong knowledge of Bulgarian literature and culture in the European context, and on acquainting students with historical-cultural specifics of the developments in the Bulgarian territory and with their influence on the formation of Bulgarian identity.

Eligibility Criteria for Diploma in Bulgarian Language (DBL)
1. The candidate should have passed H.S.C. / (+2) or equivalent qualification with 50% aggregate marks.
2. Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate score of 45% or more in subjects.
3. They must have a minimum aggregate of 55% to qualify for the program.
